The 29-year-old accepts that the year-long preparations leave him little time for his young son, that he can't earn any money and that he even has to run up debts. Only one thing worries him. Is this competition really his final event? Or will his inner voice never rest?

Tolga is confused. His girlfriend left him, but he doesn’t feel any sadness. But he wants to change it. So he asks his best friend Burak, a kebab-owner with a lot of phantasy, how to be able to cry. Burak, who seems to be an expert in emotions, or at least, the showing of emotions, offers him various tecniques to cry. But the more he offers, the more Tolga starts to question their own relation, to the point where Burak asks him a very serious question...

Even in a hospice, life goes on. A mother-in-law may be annoying. A soft toy may offer consolation.
The recollection of missed opportunities may create a sense of wistfulness. Danka, the institution's cleaning lady, experiences a lot in the course of her daily life, tidying these 15 rooms overlooking the roofs of Neukölln.
There's a lot of laughter and a lot of smoking, but also a lot of goodbyes to say. FIFTEEN ROOMS is a film about living in a place of dying.

We see the protagonist in coarse-grained 16mm alone in her apartment, blowing out the candles on her birthday cake, lighting a star-spot. She thinks about the things that keep you so busy at 30: Work, studies, children, life. Lena Lemerhofer's atmospheric and very personal portrait shows the birthday as a non-event. A diary-like miniature as a rejection of life's deadlines, a small film about time.

Add Your Heroine!

The interactive exhibition includes 12 large-scale portraits of my medial heroines. Printed on truck tarpaulins, they are stretched in a circle and each provided with a QR code. Scanning the code with a smart-device makes a comic chapter of my personal story appear with this heroine. On the web page accessed, after reading, the participants have the opportunity to add their own heroines to the collection, which are then published on the webpage.

Germaine Dulac – La Souriante Madame Beudet

La Souriante Madame Beudet (1923) is considered the first feminist film. 

The work breaks Dulac's La Souriante Madame Beudet into his individual settings and situates them in their dramaturgical physical space equivalent. Cinematic narration remains unbroken. 

Inner map becomes three-dimensional. Feedback to the physical place reinforces precisely those cinematic means that Dulac uses to solve the narration of the physical reality.
